For more than one million girls in Kenya, period poverty remains a significant barrier to education.
Without access to menstrual hygiene products, many girls miss several days of
school each month, fall behind in their studies, lose confidence, and face an increased risk of dropping out.
At Run Africa, we believe that a girl’s education should never be interrupted by something as natural as her monthly cycle.
That is why we are launching the Keep Her in School Campaign—a community-driven initiative dedicated to providing sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene supplies to vulnerable schoolgirls across Kenya.
About the Campaign
The Keep Her in School Campaign brings together schools, businesses, churches, community organizations, and generous individuals throughout California to help eliminate one of the most overlooked barriers to girls’ education. Every dollar raised will help provide menstrual hygiene supplies, restore dignity, and ensure that girls remain in the classroom where they belong. Together, we can create lasting change—one girl, one classroom, and one community at a time.
